Sari Abboud started as a dreamer with a talented soul. Known as Massari around the world, pronounced Ma-sa-ree, is the Arabic translation of the word money. The name was chosen as a representation of his rich cultural background. At 28, Sari is the eldest of three boys and is proud to be born in Beirut, Lebanon. As a proud Lebanese-Canadian, Massari didn’t want to be about just fame and glory; he wanted to connect with his fans. He wanted to be a real role model for his people and offer them all the beauty he feels in his heart, as an artist and as a man.

“I dream that one day when the name Massari is mentioned, that it would be a reflection of the great value that I cherish and hold dear in my life. The meaning of the name is not only seen through the growth of the monetary aspects in life, but as a grained attributes that provides wealth and opportunities to accomplish and achieve our goals and dreams.”

Wanting to mimic the power and soulfulness of live performances of artists such as Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin and Arabic singer George Wassouf, Massari dedicated his spare time to practicing their examples. Massari learned early in his life that music is a powerful tool. Music does not discriminate, it does not see skin color or borders, instead it unites us.

It is said the road less travelled is the road of greater resistance. Never one to shy away from challenges, Massari is constantly looking for new, innovative ways to grow as an artist and as a man. With a plethora of hit singles, critically acclaimed music videos and collaborations in his repertoire, Massari has never forgotten the roads he took to earn his successes.

Now with a few more years of experience under his belt, Massari introduces his new single, "Bad Girl". Celebrating his renaissance and return to his first and only love, music, Bad Girl is the foundation for Massari’s highly anticipated album, “Forever Massari.” Always inspired from the colorful Arabian palate that he has grown up with, Massari infuses his new single with a tempting urban beat, a sense of carefree spirit and an excitement of what’s to come.
