From their beginnings as part of the 2003 Lollapalooza 45-city tour, performing to over half a million people, to their recent stint at the famed Folies Bergere in Paris this February (2005), they have set a new standard for belly dance and proved, beyond doubt, its wide appeal to a Western audience. Over 300 concerts in 14 countries with countless television appearances and impressive press coverage has added huge impetus to an already growing interest in this most feminine and sensual dance art that celebrates all women.

This American troupe is comprised of not only the highest caliber performing dancers practicing the art, but also a number of them are expert belly dance instructors as well, making the regular Bellydance Superstars’ workshops extremely popular affairs.
